French herringbone has reigned in palaces and aristocratic residences since the 16th century. Our flooring is available in several layout variants: French herringbone cut at a 45º angle, Hungarian herringbone at 60º, classic herringbone, and rectangular elements of identical dimensions. Traditional wooden parquet is widely used in classic interiors as well as public buildings. Both parquet and herringbone are available in solid and engineered versions, featuring a patented system suitable for underfloor heating.
Oak, ash, and other wood species available depending on project requirements.

This type of parquet is a beautiful detail in interiors arranged in both traditional and modern styles. French herringbone is an excellent accent in glamour-style spaces. Larger elements, 10 cm or 12 cm wide, cut at a 45-degree angle, work perfectly in an elegant living room, dining room, or spacious kitchen. In one of our project photos (French herringbone in the kitchen and living room), you can see how this pattern presents itself in a contemporary interior.
Blocks laid at a 90-degree angle are a more affordable alternative to French herringbone. For variation, they can also be arranged in double rows. Classic herringbone suits traditional, retro, or minimalist interiors. The pattern is timeless, and thanks to its characteristic composition, it remains decorative and stylish.
There are several ways to lay straight wooden parquet, and the most common include: brick pattern (regular), ship deck pattern, and basket weave. The first introduces order due to its structured, repetitive motif. The popular ship deck pattern works well in classic interiors. Basket weave or checkerboard parquet decorates the floor while adding smooth symmetry.
