Types of skirting boards in our offer:

Skirting boards may seem subtle, but they are a very important element of interior finishing. Properly matched to the space, they serve as a decorative detail and a practical finishing touch between the floor and the wall. Thanks to skirting boards, floor maintenance becomes much easier and walls are protected from dirt.

Today’s trends allow for almost unlimited combinations of skirting boards. In the classic version, they can be a continuation of the wooden floor, made from the same wood species and in the same colour. A modern “extension” of the wall can be achieved by using flush-mounted skirting boards or MDF boards painted in the wall colour. A stylish design solution is to install skirting boards in the style of a door frame — a popular approach where the doors, frames, and skirting boards are all painted white, creating an elegant contrast with dark walls and flooring. A more extravagant option is to use other interior elements, such as furniture or artwork, and match the skirting boards to their colours.

FAQ

For classic skirting boards, installation should be left until the very end of finishing works. They are installed after the floors are laid, after the final wall painting, and after placing built‑in furniture such as wardrobes. This allows the skirting boards to be perfectly matched to all elements along the walls.

The situation is slightly different with skirting boards hidden inside the wall. The space for them (appropriate cutouts in plasterboard or plaster) must be planned during the wet construction stage. The boards themselves are usually installed right after the floor is laid and the walls are painted. The placement of furniture is not as important, because the existing openings in the wall determine the position of the skirting boards. Therefore, the placement of flush‑mounted skirting boards must be carefully planned during the wet construction phase.
